2013 Will Be a Great Year for Luxury Real Estate

March 11, 2013

After several years of incertitude, it seems like the market for luxury homes is getting stronger again. Christie's International analyzes the sales numbers and trends of San Francisco, among other cities, and reports that 2013 will be a good year for luxury homes.

Luxury sales have, indeed, had a very minor impact from global economical events and political issues.

The analysis points out that among all 10 cities included in the survey, residential sales continue to increase. It is noted that buyers from out-of-town are to be accounted for a lot of those top sales.

Property values are expected to closely follow the same path as other luxury goods, rather than following the real estate market. Recent tax laws are also expected to have an influence on the market activity this year.

As always, wealthy individuals continue to see real estate investments as paramount.
